Srishti Dabas, a Delhi-based girl scored All India Rank(AIR) 6 in the Civil Services(Main) Examination, 2023. She cleared the UPSC examination in her first attempt. She secured 862 marks in the written examination and 186 marks in the personality test. Overall, she obtained 1048 marks.
According to the media reports, Srishti is currently working at the Reserve Bank of India in Mumbai. Srishti, after completing her schooling and graduation in Delhi, worked with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. At RBI, she worked in the Human Resource Department, where she manages the appraisals of employees, as per media reports. Her career reflects a commitment to public service, even as she pursued her aspirations in civil services preparation alongside her professional responsibilities.
Speaking of her personal life, Dabas’s father serves in the Delhi Police, while her mother is a homemaker. According to Timesnowhindi report, she completed her schooling at Ganga International School. She obtained a perfect 10 CGPA in her Class 10th grade and secured 96% marks in her Class 12th grade. After school, she enrolled at Delhi University for her higher studies.
Srishti Dabas earned her BA in Political Science from Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University. Later, she pursued a Master’s degree in Political Science from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). As per the report, it was during her Master’s program that Srishti cracked the Grade B examination for the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and was selected for the HR Department. While working at RBI, she developed an interest in pursuing a career in the Indian Civil Services.
During one of her interviews, Srishti Dabas shared that balancing her job at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) with UPSC preparation was extremely challenging. She managed to find time for her studies by using the library at RBI and studying during her lunch breaks. Despite her hectic work schedule, she remained dedicated to her goal of joining the civil services.
