CBSE Board Exam 2025: The datesheet for Class 12th CBSE Board Exam 2025 was announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday. In a late night notification, CBSE announced that the Class 12th board examination will commence on February 15, 2025 and conclude on April 4, 2025.
The Class 1oth board exams will also begin on the same date, February 15, 2025, but conclude, almost a month earlier that Class 12th exams, on March 18, 2025, the board announced, adding that examinations for both classes will be held in the morning shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Notably, this is the first time that the datesheet has been issued by the board at least 86 days in advance, with sufficient gap provided between subjects.
“Sufficient gap has been given between two subjects. The datesheet has been prepared by keeping in mind at least 40,000 subject combinations to ensure that no two subjects opted by a student fall on the same date,” said CBSE Exam Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj.
The official said the datesheet has been prepared in such a manner to ensure no two subject examinations fall on the same date. The date sheet avoids a situation where none of the 40,000 subject combinations fall on the same date, he said.
An estimated 44 lakh students across 8,000 schools in India and abroad will appear in Class 10 and 12 CBSE Board Exam 2025.
