WWF Nepal signs Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Engineering (IoE)

WWF Nepal signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of
Engineering (IoE), Pulchowk on Thursday, May 4, 2023.
This MoU is developed to help IoE develop a curriculum on “Natural Resource
Safeguards in Infrastructure”, which will be embedded in the course of the bachelor’s
degree for IoE (TU).
Dr. Ghana Shyam Gurung, Country Representative of WWF Nepal and Prof. Dr.
Shashidhar Ram Joshi, Dean of IoE jointly signed the MoU and shared their
commitment to promote natural resource safeguard through academia.
Prof Dr Joshi upon signing the MoU shared, “We are very excited about this MoU since
this will work as a fuel for us to gear on embedding the course into our system. We are
really looking forward to more such collaboration.”
Dr Ghana Shyam Gurung also highlighted that is an important collaboration for WWF
as WWF is looking out at all possibilities to ensure that all the development works in
Nepal are environment friendly.
