Two schools in India, the Riverside School in Gujarat and Snehalaya English Medium School in Maharashtra, have been named as finalists in the World's Best School Prizes 2023. The awards celebrate schools for their contribution to society, including in the areas of innovation and overcoming adversity. The winners will be selected by an expert Judging Academy and will share a prize of $250,000. In addition, a new Community Choice Award will be given to the school that receives the most public support. The Riverside School is recognized for its student-centric approach to education, while Snehalaya English Medium School is credited with transforming the lives of children affected by HIV/AIDS.
