The West Bengal government has unveiled a new education policy aimed at improving the quality of education, especially for marginalized groups. The policy includes changes to the education structure, with the inclusion of early years' education at Anganwadi centres. It also recommends introducing Bangla as a subject from Class I to Class XII, implementing the three-language formula, and introducing the Semester System for formative assessment. Additionally, the policy suggests engaging students in internship programs and projects during summer vacations.
