The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Admit Card 2023 or UPTET Admit Card 2023 would be released on by the Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority (ERA).

The hall tickets will be uploaded on the official website at updeled.gov.in. Candidates can use their login details to download the admit card.

The admit cards will include crucial details of the exam like the name of the candidates, the exam they are appearing for, registration number, exam venue, date, timing, etc. Applicants will have to cross-check if all details are mentioned correctly. In case of errors, report to the authorities immediately.

Candidates who qualify will become eligible to apply for recruitment as primary or upper primary level teachers in the schools, across Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board will release the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) admit cards on its official website after completion of registration process. The admit cards would be available for download on the official website-updeled.gov.in.

The Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET) admit card will be re-issued. The exam which was scheduled to be held on November 28 was later cancelled after the question paper got leaked in WhatsApp groups. Once the fresh admit cards are issued, candidates have to download them from the official website as without it candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

UPTET Admit Card Highlights​

  • The UPTET exam will be conducted for two papers. i.e., papers 1 and 2, in two shifts.
  • As per the exam notification, which was released on October 4, it will be held in pen and paper mode.
  • The UPTET will be conducted in two shifts from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 to 5 pm.
  • For the teachers of classes 1 to 5, the exam would be held in the first shift while for the upper primary classes, that is, 6 to 8, it will be held in the second shift.
  • UPTET admit card is one of the most important documents for exam day.
  • Candidates who have not downloaded it, can do so from the official website shared above.

UPTET Exam Pattern​


The exam will consist of multiple-choice type questions from topics of child development and pedagogy and subject-specific papers. The qualifying candidates will receive their UPTET eligibility certificate once the results are declared. The certificate is valid for a lifetime as the NCTE has extended the validity of its certificate.

The preliminary or draft UPTET 2023 answer key will be released on the notified date. Candidates can challenge the answer key in case they find any answer or question as wrong. The final UPTET answer key will be released on the official website, once the analysis of the objections received against the preliminary key is completed. UPTET result 2023 will be declared on the official website. The result will be announced based on the final answer key.

Steps to download UPTET Admit card 2023​


The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board, UPBEB, will likely release the UPTET admit cards on its official website. Once released, candidates will be able to check and download their respective admit cards from the official website, i.e., updeled.gov.in. Candidates can follow the simple steps to download the hall ticket.

  1. Visit the updeled.gov.in website
    Candidates who have registered for the Uttar Pradesh TET exam can visit the official website, updeled.gov.in.

  2. Click on the UP TET link
    Once you reach the official website, click on the link that says, ‘UP TET’ On the homepage.

  3. Click on Admit Card Link
    Once the admit cards are released, the candidates should click on the link that says, ‘Admit cards’.

  4. Enter details
    Enter the details asked and click on submit.

  5. Download Admit Card
    After clicking on the submit button, the admit cards will be displayed on the screen.

  6. Print the Admit Card
    Check the details and take a print out of admit cards for future reference.

Instructions to follow before entering exam centers:​


Call letter: It is mandatory for the candidates to carry their call letter at the examination centre. It will contain details such as examination venue, exam duration, roll number, name and other information. Candidates should keep in mind that if they fail to carry the same, they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall in any case.

Identity proof: Candidates also have to bring one photo identity proof such as passport/Aadhaar/ PAN card/ driving license/ voter’s Id card/ bank passbook with duly attested photograph/identity card issued by school or college/gazetted officer in the official letterhead in original as well as a self-attested photocopy thereof. The same should be submitted along with the call letter to the invigilators.

Time management: It is very important for you to divide your time frame for each topic in the examination hall. Don’t ponder upon one question for a long time. Items banned: There are few items which are not allowed inside the hall such as mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices. Carrying the same will lead to disqualification of the candidates.

Exam Day instructions for UPTET​

  • Candidates must reach the UPTET exam centre at least 1 hour prior to the commencement of the paper to avoid being late and get frisked, checked on time.
  • It is important to carry a valid photo identity proof like Aadhar Card, PAN card etc., for checking.
  • The use of unfair means like cheating, copying or paper leak is strictly prohibited.
  • Those who will be found indulging in any such means, will face serious consequences.
  • No electronic gadgets like mobile phones, smart watches etc., are allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Candidates must present their COVID-19 vaccination certificate to the exam centre in-charge while checking.
  • In case someone is COVID +ve, they must inform about that to the in charge as separate arrangements have been made for such candidates.
  • Candidates must carry only a ‘transparent’ water bottle if they wish to. They must also have their hand sanitisers with them.
