New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) has released the revised schedule 2025 for the various recruitment examinations. As per the schedule, the Commission will issue a detailed notification for the N.D.A. & N.A. Examination (I), 2025 on December 11, 2024. The last date for submission of the online application form is December 31, 2024. UPSC will hold the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2025 on April 13, 2024. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website at upsconline.nic.in and upsc.gov.in.

National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2025: Check Educational Qualifications

  • (i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy :—12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
  • (ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :—12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

  • Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) at upsc.gov.in and .
  • Look for the registration link. The applicant needs to register himself/herself first at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website. Later, candidates must proceed for filling up the online application for the examination.
  • Fill up the application form. Upload the necessary documents.
  • Pay the application fee. Download a copy of the submitted application form for future reference.

One Time Registration (OTR) is not an application for any examination. It is just a collection of information from the applicants and giving a separate dashboard to each applicant to facilitate them to maintain their own profile.


Students are advised to apply online by visiting the designated website: upsconline.nic.in. It is to be noted that the OTR has to be registered only once in life time. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway for filling up the online application for the examination.
