UPSC Mains result 2024: UPSC Civil Services Main result expected soon; how to check your roll number and other details

UPSC CSE Mains 2024 Result: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will declare the result of the Civil Services Mains Examination (CSE) anytime soon. All those aspirants who have appeared for the Civil Services mains examination can download the UPSC CSE Mains Result 2024 by visiting the official website at upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.

At present, the Commission has not released any exact date and time for the declaration of the UPSC CSE result. However, as per media reports and previous year’s trends, the UPSC CSE Mains result is likely to be announced in December 2024.

The Civil Services mains examination was held from September 20 to 29, 2024. The personality tests (interviews) schedule will be made available accordingly. The result of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2024 held on 16.06.2024, has been declared on 01.07.2024.

UPSC CSE Main Result 2024: How to check UPSC Civil Services result?

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the official UPSC website ( ) or directly access the results page if available.
  2. Navigate to the Results Section: Look for the ‘Examination’ or ‘Results’ tab on the website’s homepage. Click on it to find the list of all the examination results.
  3. Find UPSC Mains 2024 Result: Search for the link specifically mentioning the UPSC Mains 2024 Result. It might be labeled as “Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024 Result”.
  4. Download PDF or Check Roll Numbers: Once you find the relevant link, click on it. The result might be available as a PDF file where the roll numbers or names of the qualified candidates are listed.
  5. Check Your Roll Number: If the result is in a PDF format, you can use the search function (Ctrl + F on Windows or Command + F on Mac) to find your roll number or name.

A list of selected candidates will be invited to the interview round. These candidates will be interviewed by a Board, which will have access to the candidate’s career record. The Commission will release a document (in PDF format) containing details such as the roll numbers of candidates who have successfully passed the test.

The candidates will be required to produce the original certificates in support of their eligibility/reservation claims viz. age, educational qualifications, community, economically weaker section, Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), and other documents such as TA Form, etc. at the time of their personality test (interview). They are, therefore, advised to keep the said documents ready with them.

Dates of Personality Tests (Interviews) of these candidates will be notified in due course, which will be held in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069.

The UPSC CSE Personality Tests (Interviews) schedule will be made available accordingly. The e-Summon Letters of Personality Tests (Interviews) of the candidates will be made available in due course, which can be downloaded from the official website.

All the candidates, who qualified for the Personality Tests (Interviews), are required to fill and submit their Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II) mandatorily.
