The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results of the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022 today, May 23, 2023. Candidates who had appeared for the UPSC Mains Examinations and Personality Test can check their results at the UPSC official website

A total of 933 candidates have qualified the examinations, and are set to be appointed in various government services across the nation.
The UPSC Civil Service Examinations (CSE) preliminary exams were held on June 5, 2022, and the results were released on June 22. The main examination was conducted from September 16 to 25, and the results were declared on December 6. The interviews concluded on May 18. This year the interviews were conducted in three different phases
The top four positions this year, just like last year, are dominated by women with Ishika Kishore securing the AIR 1, followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N and Smriti Mishra at the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th positions respectively.
Candidates can check the UPSC official website for further details. A total of 178 candidates have been kept on the reserve list. Of these 89 are from the general category, 28 in EWS, 52 in OBSm 5 and 4 in SC and ST respectively.
