The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has rescheduled the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2024 from May 26 to June 16, prompting many candidates to seek changes in their examination centres. Generally, the UPSC does not allow candidates to modify their centres. However, exceptions have been made in exceptional circumstances, such as safety concerns. Last year, amid violence in Manipur, students were allowed to change centres after petitioning the High Court.
