How to download UPJEE Admit Card 2023?​


UPJEE Admit Card has been released by the Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have applied for UPJEE Exam can get more information on the official website of JEECUP, jeecup.nic.in. Candidates may follow the below given simple steps for download the admit card.

  1. Visit the jeecup.nic.in website
    First visit the official website of UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam in your device browser by entering the web address, jeecup.nic.in and enter press button, then website will appear.

  2. Click on the Admit Card Link
    Once your reach the official website of JEECUP, you can search for the Admit Card and click on the 'Admit Card' link on the home page. Then login web page will appear.

  3. Enter login details
    By clicking on the Admit Card link, then Admit Card downloading web page will be opened. In this page, enter your Registration Number, Payment Reference ID, Mobile Number and Date of Birth in the required fields. Click on the Get Admit Card button.

  4. Click on Get Admit Card Button
    After entry of login details, click on the 'Get Admit Card' button. Then, your UP JEE Admit Card would be downloaded in your device.

  5. Print Admit Card
    Open the downloaded UP Polytechnic Admit Card PDF file and check all details. Take a print it and preserve it for future reference. Take Admit Card into the exam hall on the exam day.

After completion of registering process for JEECUP, candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official web portal. The exam will be held in selected districts and the result of the entrance examination is expected to be declared within 10 days of the examination.

All the candidates who have submitted the online application and paid the examination fee till last date will be allowed to appear in UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC). Admit cards will be uploaded on the website as per schedule.

The Admit Card can be downloaded from UPJEE POLYTECHNIC website before 10 days of commencement of the entrance examination through their login and password.

The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidate subject to his/her satisfying the eligibility conditions. The reporting time at the test centre will be mentioned in admit card/hall ticket.

The candidate must show, on demand, the Admit Card for admission in the examination room/hall. A candidate who does not possess the Admit Card issued by the Council shall not be permitted for the examination under any circumstances.

Before and during the examination, the invigilator will check Admit Card of the candidate to satisfy himself/herself about the identity of each candidate.

Exam pattern: The UPJEE will have one paper for each group having 100 objective type questions. All exams will be in Hindi and English and students can choose their mode of exam.

The test will be of three hours duration. For each correct question, four marks will be given and one-fourth marks will be deducted for wrong answers. Those who clear the exams will be eligible for admission to 67 courses across 1296 institutions. Admission will be given after counseling rounds.

Candidates who clear the exam will get admission in all the state-based aided and private polytechnic institutions, affiliated with Technical Education Council, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.

This year the entrance exams will be conducted through online mode. On the basis of entrance examinations, a merit list will be created and candidates will be called for online counselling. Following which, students will be allocated institution and courses for admission to first-year and second-year lateral entry.

Those who clear the UPJEE written examination will have to apply for the counselling process. The counselling is usually in two rounds for the seat allotment of students across various colleges.

Candidates who clear the JEECUP polytechnic examination will have to register and pay fees for counselling. The process will begin with choice filling and locking of seats. It will be followed by online freezing of choice selection and document verification after which students will have to pay a security fee of Rs 3000 through the online mode to reserve the seats.
