The Uttar Pradesh Directorate of Education has released the schedule of holidays for the upcoming year, including leaves for various festivals. In a significant move, female staff have been granted two additional leaves for fasting and festivities, excluding Kawa Chauth. Furthermore, schools in Uttar Pradesh will have a 41-day summer break from May 21 to June 30, 2024. The total number of holidays, including summer vacations and Sundays, will be 118. Secondary schools will be open for 233 days, with board exams scheduled over a 15-day period.
