Prayagraj: In a move to promote transparency and curb further paper leak incidents, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has enhanced the security of its question papers. The question papers will now be stored in boxes equipped with digital locks, making tampering difficult due to their multi-layered security.

As per the Times of India Report, a control room will be established for every examination conducted by the Recruitment Board or Selection Commission, overseeing the entire recruitment process. Sources told TOI, that the question papers will be taken out from the printing press in iron boxes with digital locks and stored in the treasury of the respective districts. From the treasury, these secured boxes will then be delivered to the examination centers.

At the examination centers, following the established protocol, the paper packets will be removed from the boxes and opened 30 minutes before the examination commences. The entire process, from storing and retrieving the boxes in the treasury to opening the question paper packets at the examination centers, will be recorded on video.

The report further suggests that the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is likely to have a digital lock code. The boxes designed for the question papers will be multilayered and equipped with screws for added security.
