1 Universities-20 conference, the flagship education program of G-20, will be held in Pune
The Association of Indian Universities and Symbiosis International-Deemed Universities will host the Universities-20 – Uni-20 conference in Pune on June 19, 20 and 21 as a complementary event to the flagship education event of the G-20 . Its theme is – ‘ The Future of Universities Making the World a Better Place to ‘Live in the Transformative Role of Universities ‘. This three day conference will be organized at Symbiosis International University in Pune. Uni-20 will be attended by senior academics and educational leaders from G-20 countries. About 70 international delegates, G-20 countries and more than 40 speakers from all continents will participate in the conference.
2 Madhya Pradesh government launched Ladli Behna Yojana, every woman of the state will get one thousand rupees per month
In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched a new scheme for women empowerment in the state at the state level ‘ Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana ‘ program organized at Garrison Ground, Jabalpur . Under this scheme named Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana, the Chief Minister inaugurated this scheme by depositing an amount of Rs 1,000 each in the accounts of 1.25 crore women of the state. In his address on this occasion, Shri Chouhan said that with time, the amount of Ladli Bahna Yojana will be increased from Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000 . He said that now women will not have to stretch their hands for small needs. Significantly, the Laadli Bahna Yojana was announced on March 5 this year.And in about 35 days, more than one crore 25 lakh women submitted applications to take advantage of this scheme. An amount of one thousand rupees was deposited in the bank accounts of all these women. At the same time, the state government has also issued a phone number 181 for the help of women . Apart from this , Ladli Bahna Sena will also be formed for women empowerment and security . Along with providing security to women, this army will also help in taking advantage of government schemes.
