Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah inaugurated IFFCO ‘s Nano DAP (Liquid) Plant at Kalol in Gandhinagar district of Gujarat . Shri Shah said that the need of the hour is to adopt natural farming and reduce the use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture without compromising production. He appreciated the contribution of Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited-IFFCO in developing nano variants and offering successful alternatives to chemical fertilizers.
2 Center sets up Unlawful Activities Prevention Tribunal in Jammu and Kashmir
The Center has constituted the Unlawful Activities Prevention Tribunal in Jammu and Kashmir . It will take a decision on the issue of declaring Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party – JKDFP illegal. The Union Home Ministry had declared JKDFP an unlawful organization on the 5th of this month. The ministry said in a notification that the tribunal comprises Delhi High Court judge Justice Sachin Dutta .

National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL), established as a premier organization for exports in the cooperative sector, has achieved great success by securing orders worth Rs 7,000 crore . The Union Minister for Cooperation emphasized that a significant portion of the export profits, approximately 50% , will directly benefit farmers through NCEL . NCEL, registered under the Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act, 2002, acts as an umbrella organization for exports from the cooperative sector. NCEL was established with 6 objectives of increasing exports in cooperative sector, enriching farmers, changing cropping patterns, providing global market for organic products, securing a place for India in the global market for biofuels and strengthening the cooperative sector. 7 China appoints technocrat Lan Phan as new finance minister to strengthen economy
Lan Fan, a technocrat with little experience in China , has been appointed as the new Finance Minister . Government media have reported that fiscal stimulus is being increased in China to boost the economy. Lan, 61, was named Communist Party chief of the finance ministry last month. He replaces Liu Kun who was the Finance Minister since 2018. Previously, Mr Lan was party chief of northern China’s Shanxi province.
