A UNICEF India study lauds Kerala's digital education initiatives, highlighting the Little KITEs programme as a model for global education. Implemented by Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE), the programme has impacted 2,174 high schools, promoting future-ready skills and gender equality in STEM. By using Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS), Kerala saved Rs 3000 crore. The report recommends expanding Little KITEs statewide and emphasizes the program's scalability and adaptability for other regions.
