UGC NET June Exam Dates 2024 Announced; Check Revised Schedule, Mode of Examination Here

New Delhi: Amid a raging row over alleged irregularities in the conduct of competitive exams, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the revised examination dates for the UGC-NET June 2024 exams, Joint CSIR UGC NET exams, and NCET (National Common Entrance Test) 2024 exams. Going by the schedule, the NTA will hold the University Grants Commission–National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) between August 21 and September 4. Meanwhile, the Joint CSIR UGC NET is scheduled to be held between July 25 to July 27 and the NCET exams will be conducted on July 10.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC – NET June 2024 for (i) ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, (ii) ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and (iii) ‘admission to Ph.D. only’ in 83 subjects.

UGC NET June Exam Schedule 2024: Check New Changes​


The UGC NET June 2024 Cycle examination was earlier held in Pen & paper (offline) mode. However, it will now be conducted in the Computer-Based Test ( CBT) mode. In a shift from the earlier pattern, the exam was conducted in offline mode this year and on a single day(June 18). However, the rescheduled exam will be conducted according to the earlier pattern of Computer Based Test (CBT) spread across a fortnight. It is to be noted that the University Grants Commission–National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) was cancelled a day after being conducted on June 18 as the education ministry received inputs that the integrity of the exam was compromised.   3. UGC NET June 2024 Cycle: Between 21 August 2024 and 04 Septemeber 2024

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) UGC-NET, which was postponed as a preemptive measure amid the row over alleged irregularities in the conduct of exams, will now be held from July 25 to July 27. The All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) will be held as earlier scheduled on July 6. The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), which was postponed hours before its scheduled commencement on June 12, will now be conducted on July 10.

UGC NET Exam City Slip, Admit Card Release Date​


At present, NTA has not released any precise date and time for the publication of the UGC NET Exam City Slip or UGC NET Admit Card. Once released, candidates can access the UGC NET Advance Intimation City Slip and UGC NET Admit Card at nta.ac.in and . To access the same, a candidate needs to enter his/her application number and date of birth.
