To check the status of the TS Rythu Bandhu payment, the farmer can visit the official website of the Telangana government’s Agriculture and Cooperation department. They can enter their Aadhaar number, Rythu Bandhu ID, or account number to view the payment status.

Till date, the Telangana government has deposited Rs 3,946 crore into the accounts of 51.99 lakh farmers, who own up to four acres of land. Rs. 5000 per acre per season​


Under the , almost 58.33 lakh farmers are provided Rs.5000 per acre per season to support the farm investment twice a year, for Rabi and Kharif seasons. According to the state Finance Minister Harish Rao, Rythu Bandhu payment amount would be disbursed to the beneficiaries in June 2020.

The Telangana govt credited the Rythu Bandhu payment amount to the bank accounts of nearly 50.84 lakh farmers on June 22. Also, the patta holders farmers whose bank account was linked were transferred Rs. 5,294.53 crore at the rate of Rs.5,000 per acre.

(A) How to check In treasury site? The amount will be deposited into the farmers’s accounts who own land up to one acre. The land extent will be increased by one acre every day and a total amount of Rs 7,521.8 crore will be transferred into the bank accounts in a phased manner. Farmers who are availing the scheme for the first time, must submit necessary documents to the agricultural extension officers and register their names.

    Rythu Bandhu scheme also Farmers’ Investment Support Scheme (FISS) is a welfare program to support farmer’s investment for two crops a year by the Government of Telangana. The government is providing 58.33 lakh farmers, ₹5000 per acre per season to support the farm investment, twice a year, for Rabi(Yasangi) and Kharif(Rainy) seasons. This is a first direct farmer investment support scheme in India, where the cash is paid directly.

  2. When was launched the Scheme?​


    The scheme was announced by the Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrashekhar Rao at Farmers Coordination Committee (Rythu Samanvaya Samithi) conference at Jayashankar Agriculture University on 25 February 2018. An allocation of ₹12,000 crores was made in 2018-19 state budget.[6] It was launched on 10 May 2018 at Dharmarajpalli village in Karimnagar. If a farmer has a lot of field such that they are due more than Rs. 49,000 then they get a second check for the remaining amount.

    a new scheme called “Agriculture Investment Support Scheme” (“Rythu Bandhu”) is proposed to be implemented from the year 2018-19 Kharif season onwards to take care of initial investment needs of every farmer.

    Relieving the Farmers from the debt burden and not allowing them to fall in the debt trap again, is proposed by Government of Telangana for providing Investment Support Agriculture and Horticulture crops by way of grant of Rs.5,000/- per acre per farmer each season for purchase of inputs like Seeds, Fertilizers, Pesticides, Labour and other investments in the field operations of Farmer’s choice for the crop season.
