Telangana KGBVs SOs, CRTs Recruitment, SOs, Teachers Recruitment in newly formed Telangana KGBVs, Teaching and Non-teaching staff Recruitment in New KGBVs, Urban Residential Schools. Engage the services of Teaching and Non-teaching staff.

DSE and Ex-Officio SPD has given Guidelines for opening of 84 new KGBVs and 29 Urban Residential Schools during 2022-23. In this connection, 84 new KGBVs to be Established in Educationally Backward Mandals and 29 new Urban Residential Schools to be Established for Urban Deprived Children.

These KGBVs(TS KGBV English Medium Schools) are to be established in Telangana State for the academic year 2018-18 to provide education to the targeted children in English Medium to achieve the goals of SSA and Education Department and the Urban Residential Schools.

Note: TS KGBV URS SOs, PGCRTs, CRTs, PET Teachers Recruitment 2019 has not been announced yet by SS Telangana

Telangana State-SSA, KGBV – 1050 CRT, SO, PET Posts (Last date: 23.06.2018):
DSE Telangana is going to release the 1050 various Teaching and Non Teaching posts recruitment in June month.

4 types of posts to be filled in each KGBVs under this recruitment. 87 KGBVs are upgraded in this year. These recruitment process would be completed in July 2nd week.

1. Post Graduate Contract Resident Teacher (PGCRT): 580 Posts
Subjects: Telugu, English, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Civics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Nursing.
Qualification: PG, B.Ed or B.A.B.Ed/ B.Sc.B.Ed., M.Sc.(Nursing).

2. Contract Resident Teacher(CRT): 359 Posts
Subjects: Maths, Physical Science, Biological Science, Social, Telugu, Hindi, English.
Qualification: Graduate/ PG, B.Ed. or B.A.B.Ed./ B.Sc.B.Ed. Pass in Paper II of TSTET/ APTET/ CTET.

3. Special Officer(SO): 49 Posts
Qualification: PG, B.Ed., Qualified in TET Exam-Paper II/ CTET.

4. Physical Education Teacher(PET): 62 Posts
Qualification: Intermediate. Certificate/ Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education/ Diploma in Physical Education. Or Bachelor’s Degree, B.P.Ed.

Selection Procedure: Based on written examination.

Criteria of Selection
i. The prescribed qualification for the post at Sl.No. l is as indicated in the below table.
ii. The prescribed qualification for the post at Sl.No.2 is as indicated in the below table.
iii. In respect of Posts from Sl.No.3 to 9, the qualification criteria may be adopted on par with other existing KGBVs.
iv. Recruitment is to be taken up by the District Collectors as per the previous procedures duly following Rule of Reservation.

Selection of Teaching Staff (CRTs) in KGBVs:
Eligibility criteria
• Only Female Candidates are eligible to work as CRTs.
• The candidate should be a resident of the District where the selection is sought.
• Rule of reservation based on community will be strictly followed. Roster to be maintained at the District Level.
• The mode of employment shall be on Contract for a period of 11 months or last day of the academic year, whichever is earlier, from the date of appointment.
• The candidate shall be willing to do Night Duty in the KGBV as per the rotation drawn up in the KGBV.
• Performance review will be conducted at the end of the contract period and based on this the contract shall be renewed.
• The services of candidates will be terminated in case of low performance /indulging in any unacceptable activities / misbehaviour / mis appropriation of funds etc.

Selection Procedure:

a. A panel of eligible female candidates for recruitment as CRTs in KGBVs shall be maintained at the District Level for filling all vacancies, currently existing and arising in the future, of CRTs during the course of the academic year.)

b. The selection of candidates for the Panel of Contract Resident Teachers in KGBV shall be on the basis of Written Test, descriptive and in English medium only. However, the teaching skills (demonstration) of shortlisted candidates based on merit and roster shall be observed and if suitable, then only she can be engaged as CRT. This panel is valid for one year and as and when vacancy arises candidates can be engaged from the Panel so maintained.

c. Based on the cut-off marks specified for qualification above, the final merit list/panel shall be prepared and list of candidates who are qualified subject wise & category wise to be placed on the District website for receiving complaints. Final Selection shall be prepared as per roster points and shall be communicated to the State Project Office and displayed prominently in the office of the District Educational Office and also on the respective District website.)

e. Contract letters along with the Job Charts, shall be issued to the selected candidates.)

f. The appointment of Guest Teachers or Vidya Volunteers or any such ad hoc arrangements is allowed with the prior permission of the District Collector & Chairman, SSA.

Urban Residential Schools Posts details:

Criteria of Selection:
i) In respect of posts at Sl.No. l & 2, the posts are to be filled by selection process of conducting Test, followed by demonstration from the existing Cluster Resource Persons and District Level Monitoring Teams.
ii) In respect of Posts from Sl.No.3 to 8, the qualification criteria may be adopted on par with other existing KGBVs.
iii) The District Collectors will finalize this recruitment by following the criteria of selection.
