Quality Education, We have many schools some are Day-scholar and some are residential based schools. If we observe a residential student secures more marks than other because the atmosphere in residential is quite different when compared to regular schools.
There is more scope to the student to achieve good results. This is not a new system this is adopted from our ancient days where there is ashrams and Gurukuls. The student comes out of ashram when he completes his education which includes different skills.
Now-a-days we have model schools, social welfare schools, kasturba schools. But Telangana State government is going to start a prestigious programme “KG to PG” by merging all the above said schools as one and function under one system. As they already have well equipped infrastructure, hostels and the teaching is in English medium, this can be perfect for “KG to PG”.
As CM, education dept. discussed several times with experts, higher officials to prepare concept paper on KG to PG. Those opinions are to run all the schools under one system and these schools should be started for each Mandal. As success schools are failure due to irresponsibility but the desire of parents didn’t fulfilled, by this, that desire can also be fulfilled. Free & quality based education in English medium
As 17 model schools are now functioning, 15 schools are ready to function from next June, in next phase central govt. sanctioned another 125 schools, released 100 crores funds but in recent budget these total schools are kept away.
Now there is a dilemma that either rest of funds will be released or not? If not state govt. should expend other 650 crores for these model schools. As govt. is planning for KG to PG, thinking to run these schools in model schools by modifying wherever necessary. As funds for girls hostel is given, state govt. should expend on boys hostels only.
In our state many schools are functioning with different names. The details of those schools.
