Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education i.e., BIE Telangana has released TS Inter Admission Schedule 2023 for the academic year 2023-2024 and Certain Instructions have been issued to all the Head of Institutions.

TS Inter Admission 2023 News, the Telangana government has instructed to the Inter Board to create an easy process for students to get admissions without going to colleges by physically and to make a positive decision for students even on online classes. To this end, the Inter Board is introducing a new policy for admissions called ‘ ‘.

There are a total of 404 government junior colleges across the state. Previously, the student had to go there and apply for admission. Under this new ‘Self Enrollment Online Option’ system, the student can get admission in the college online from home. For this, the ‘Student Self Enrollment Online Option Form’ will be available on the official website of the Inter Board from 01-06-2021.

It contains a list of all government colleges. The application has to be filled by entering the tenth class hall ticket number, selecting the college for admission. Once the admissions are finalized, the tenth class certificate, TC and other certifications have to be sent to the college. These can be submitted through Mee Seva service centers. Admissions can be obtained in all government colleges under this scheme.*

Junior colleges across the state are scheduled to start from 01-06-2021 as per the pre-determined schedule. However, the Inter-Board announced that it was postponing these in the wake of the lockdown. Online classes would be started from the 01-06-2021 without stopping there.

All government, private aided, private un-aided, co-operative, TS Residential, TS Social Welfare Residential, TS Model Schools, KGBV, Incentive Junior Colleges should accept admissions into in the 1st year up to the deadline. Those who have not been able to get admissions so far can visit website and enroll online to get admission in the desired college.

It is learned that some officials recently discussed with the Inter-Board Secretary on the issue of granting admissions through WhatsApp and directed to look into the possibilities.

According to Corona, last year admissions were made online in intermediate colleges, but this year the authorities are looking into the possibility of providing online as well as WhatsApp based admissions.

It is learned that Inter first year admissions started from the 25th of May month. Officials, who have released the schedule of first phase admissions, have given admissions till July 5. A decision on WhatsApp based TS Inter admissions will be made soon.

The WhatsApp based TS Inter admission process: Students should send details of SSC Marks Memo, Aadhaar Card Number, Course, Medium, Second Languages (Second Language) to the WhatsApp number of the College Principal to which they have joined.

College principals register all student details on the website. Once all the details are entered on the website, the admissions process is complete. After confirming that the admission has been completed, the assigned admission number will be sent to the student’s WhatsApp number.

Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education released TS Inter Admission Schedule on its official website of TS BIE, for admission into first year intermediate courses in Telangana Junior colleges across the State. Students who have passed SSC examination can check details and download the TS Inter Admission Schedule from the official web page. For downloading the Schedule, student can follow the given simple tests.

  2. Click on TSBIE Website
    Once you reach the official website, click on the TSBIE Website on the home page. Then, Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education official web portal will appear.

    On the TS BIE website, click on the TS Inter Admission Link at the left side bar. Then, a new web page will be appeared.

Admissions based on GPA: In view of the introduction of grading system in SSC, admissions should be made based on GPA (Grade Point Average) and subject-wise Grade Point (GP) obtained in the qualifying examination as per the guidelines. They should not conduct any test for admission. Stringent action will be taken against the junior colleges making admissions on any other basis.

Student Aadhaar number: It is required to submit the Aadhaar number of the student who wants to seek admission in Intermediate course in Private Aided, Un-aided, Social welfare, Tribal Welfare, BC welfare, Minority, Model school/Junior colleges and Government Junior Colleges in the state of Telangana.

Instructions to unaided junior colleges: The Principals of unaided junior colleges are hereby directed that they should make admissions only upto the sanctioned sections and upto the ceiling strength of 88 in each section.

They are further directed not to make admissions in the combinations dropped by the Board.

The admission into additional sections should be made only after the permission is issued by the Board. Violation, if any, will be liable for action including levying of penalty and disaffiliation of the college.

Display Entrance Information: During the period of admissions the managements are requested to display prominently at the entrance of the building the number of sections sanctioned by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education for the academic year, the number of seats filled up in each section and the number of seats vacant in each section. This information should be updated on a daily basis.

Rule 7 of APPE Rules 1997: All the Principals of unaided junior colleges are instructed not to resort to issue of advertisements with inducements amounting to violation of Rule 7 of Andhra Pradesh Public Examinations (Prevention of Malpractice & Unfair means) Rules 1997 issued in G.O.Ms.No.114, dated 13-05-1997. Any violation noticed will be dealt under law.

Mother Name: All the Principals are instructed to incorporate Mother’s name instead of Father’s Name in respect of Jogini children as it is in the records of qualifying examination.

Security for Girl Students: All the Principals are instructed to take measures to ensure security to girl students.

Gap period Certificate: The candidates who want to seek admission on condonation of gap period, have to obtain a certificate of local candidate / residential certificate for the gap period from the local Tahasildar.

As per the annual academic calendar, all the junior colleges were to open for the academic year 2021-2021 from 16-09-2021 for admissions only.

The Online classes for the first year Intermediate course will commence from the 01-06-2021 and the 2nd year online classes have been started from 01-06-2021 through DD Yadagiri and T SAT TV Platform.

Web News: Telangana Inter board has announced the Schedule for admission into intermediate 1st year in Junior colleges in the Telangana state. The application submission process has been started as per the schedule for admission into government, private, aided, model schools and gurukul junior colleges in the state.

The following items in the schedule:​

  • Admissions should be done based on Student’s grade point average, subjects based grade
  • No examinations can be conducted for admissions. Doing this, actions should be taken on respective colleges
  • Aadhar number of students should be enrolled in any college is mandatory
  • Admissions should not exceed 88 seats in each of the seats in the college
  • Admissions should not be made in the combinations canceled by the board.
  • Admissions in Additional Sections come with board approvals. To abolish these provisions and abolish college affiliate identity along with fine
  • In college, the seats that are sanctioned and the seats to be replaced will be put at the College Gate
  • No advertisements should be made about these admissions
  • Jogini children’s records should be replaced by a father name
  • Details of affiliated colleges can be obtained on the board website (tsbie.cgg.gov.in). Parents should include their children in recognized colleges.
