TN MRB Assistant Surgeon 2023: Tamilnadu Medical Services Recruitment BOARD (TN MRB) has issued the Corrigendum Regarding the Normalization of the marks & Calculation of normalized marks for multi-session papers for the post of Assistant Surgeon (General) Computer Based Test.

Computer Based Test (CBT) for the post of Assistant Surgeon (General) is scheduled on 25th April 2023 (Tuesday) in more than one batch at various examination centers in Tamil Nadu. The total Examination duration is 3.30 hrs, One hour for Tamil, 30 minutes break, and Two hours for Medical Science.​

Normalization of the Marks:


The Computer Based Examination is conducted in multiple sessions. A candidate will be permitted to appear only in one session. Attending more than one session will automatically lead to disqualification of the candidature and no further correspondence in this regard will be entertained.​

Calculation of normalized marks for multi-session papers:


In the case of multi-session papers, a suitable normalization is applied to take into account any variation in the difficulty levels of the question papers across different sessions.​
