The cut-off for TISSNET examination has been released along with the result. Candidates must have to secure minimum cut off marks to be eligible for admission. Candidates who fulfill the cut-off marks are eligible to proceed for the further admission process.
The TISSNET 2024 cut-off will be released in July 2024. Candidates must check cut off on the website. After that, the admission rounds will be conducted in August 2024.
The qualifying cut-off does not guarantee the admission. Students also have to qualify further admission rounds. The admission will be based on the final merit list.
The expected qualifying cut-off for TISSNET 2024 exam is as given below:

How the Cut-off Marks Calculated
After reaching the marks as per the cut-off, candidates will be required to qualify other admission rounds for admission. Below we have mentioned some parameters by which the cut-off marks will be calculated:
- Difficulty level of exam
- Number of candidates appeared in the entrance exam
- Total number of seats available
- Category of candidates
Expected Cut-off by Coaching Institutions
Some coaching institutions also predict the cut-off for TISSNET 2024 examination. However, this year, the cut-off may be higher due to more number of candidates. The expected cut-off by various coaching institutions like IMS, Time & others will be as given below:

TISSNET 2024 Result
Candidates must check the through online mode. It can not be provided though any offline mode. The result for entrance test is declared on 21st December 2023 through CAT 2023/ 2024. Result has been declared through any other online mode.
A merit list is prepared for short-listing the candidates for further admission rounds (PIT and PI). The shortlisted candidates receive their call letters for PIT and PI rounds.
TISSNET Admission Process
After securing the marks, as per the specified cut-off, candidates have to proceed for these rounds. rounds is conducted through offline mode at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad and Guwahati campuses.
Pre-Interview Test is a written exam which is conducted before the Personal Interview (PI). For some courses, group discussion will be conducted.
After appearing in PIT, candidates will have to proceed for personal interview. In this round, questions will be asked on related topics for which candidate is applying. The marks for different admission rounds will be as given below:
