After the celestial wedding (Kalyanotsavam) of Lord Malayappa Swamy with His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, the deities are taken to the Aina Mahal (Mirror Hall). In the center of this mandapam, the deities are seated on a swing (Unjal), and the Unjal Seva is performed. Devotees can witness the divine reflections of the deities in the mirrors surrounding the mandapam. Following the seva, karpura (camphor) harathi and distribution of prasadam take place.
