The event will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of academic and student life at the University. It will introduce students to the campus environment, facilities and resources, support services, life in Tucson, and of course, academic requirements and expectations. Moreover, the opportunity for future students to connect in person with peers and staff will help foster a deeper connection to the University and prepare them for a successful transition to their life on campus and academic pursuits.

The event will be attended by Daniel Palm, Associate Vice President for International Affairs, and Bruce Wang, Senior Director for Asian Engagement. From the University’s local offices Salil Gupta, Chief Advisor for South Asia and the India student support team will also be in attendance.

“We are looking forward to meeting our newly admitted students at this special event,” said Daniel Palm, Associate Vice President for International Affairs. “As a top global university, the University of Arizona is dedicated to supporting our future students as they prepare to embark on their academic journey. These sessions in India give students and their families the opportunity to meet our staff in person, to benefit from a deeper understanding of life, study, and opportunities at University of Arizona before they leave home.”

The University Of Arizona is a leading U.S. research institution with students from more than 120 nationalities, including a growing Indian student cohort. As well as delivering more than 300 programs on the main campus in Tucson, the University Of Arizona also offers Indian students the opportunity to take fully online courses through the Global Direct Online program. Students can choose to complete a degree entirely online or transition from online studies to the main campus to complete the program.
