Name changed as TWCDC : Telangana State Government, Department for Women Children Disabled and Senior Citizens(Schemes) has issued Govt. Order No.7 on November 17th, 2014.
The Govt has Changed of nomenclature of Andhra Pradesh Women Co-operative Development Corporation as TS Women Co-operative Development Corporation.

ORDER:
In the reference 1st read above that, the Special Chief Secretary to Government & CIP Industries & Commerce Deptt., has informed that vide Council Resolution No.20/2014, dt.16.7.2014, Council of Ministers considered and approved to create Telangana State Organizations for the entities listed in Appendix II and also to use Telangana State as a suffix or prefix for the Telangana State entities to be created.

- Government after careful examination of the matter hereby order the Change of nomenclature of Andhra Pradesh Women Co- operative Development Corporation as Telangana Women Co- operative Development Corporation.
