Admission 2024 or TS Sport School Admission 2024 notification would be released by the Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS).
This notification for Admission into 4th Class in HakimPet, Karimnagar and Adilabad Telangana Sports School for the Academic Year 2024-2025.
Telangana Sports School will conduct the selections for admissions of 40 students ( 20 Boys & 20 Girls) each at HakimPet, Karimnagar and Adilabad into 4th class every year.
These selections will be conducted in 3 tier system i.e., Mandal level, district level and state level to pick up highly potential young boys and girls in the age group of 8 years.

Fitness tests will be conducted in the month of June. For this, state level selection competitions are being held in HakimPet, Karimnagar and Adilabad.
Talented students are selected for three sports schools. Each sports school will have 20 girls and 20 boys. Admissions notification will be announced when schools are open physically. All schools, sports schools, dormitories are closed due to corona.
Admission notification to sports schools will be issued as soon as possible they open. Physical Tests would be conducted if the corona severity is completely reduced. From July 1, children will be taught online.

Excise, Sports and Tourism Minister issued notification for admission of students in fourth and fifth classes at sports schools located at Hakimpet, Karimnagar and Adilabad.
In the present academic year notification was issued to fill 240 seats in 15 sports disciplines at Karimnagar, Adilabad and Hakimpet.
In each school for each class there are 20 vacancies for boys and girls each which comes to 80 vacancies in each school. Students have to apply online for admission test.
Applications are inviting from the eligible students for the 4th class admissions in the ongoing sports school, under the direction of the State Sports Authority.

The Test results should be announced by the MEO on completion of the selection same day by not exceeding 20 boys and 20 girls for IV class. In case of a tie, younger age child will be given preference.
The District Level Selections may be held at the district headquarters concerned DEO will be the incharge of the entire procedure.

The school started in 1993 on 206 acres at Thumkunta near Hakimpet Air Force Station. The sports offered at the school include kabaddi, archery, gymnastics, judo, volleyball, football, water sports (rowing, sailing, kayaking and canoeing), sepak takraw, track and field athletics etc.
There is an indoor stadium for gymnastics, 400-metre track, archery ground, football ground, volleyball courts, weightlifting hall and a conditioning hall.
