STG PUBLIC SCHOOL organized a mass Yoga demonstration for its students from 4th to 10th Std. The demo was led by Shri. Chandrashekaramurthy, Yoga Instructor at Chongqing, China. The event started with a prayer and Yoga Pledge. 617 students and 60 staff including the Principal and Administrator participated in the demonstration. The students showed a lot of enthusiasm in knowing and performing some Yoga asanas and Pranayama. The protocol issued by AYUSH was followed and demo concluded with the Shanthi Mantra. In short the day had a lot of relevance because children were involved in experiential learning of Yoga on this significant day of International Day of Yoga.
