SSC CHSL Exam Date 2024​


The SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination will be held for recruitment to the group C posts that is Lower Divisional Clerk or Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Data Entry Operators for various ministries, departments, offices of the government of India and various constitutional, statutory bodies, tribunals, among others.

The SSC CHSL tier 1 exam will examine candidates’ general intelligence, quantitative aptitude (Basic arithmetic skill), general awareness, and English language.

SSC CGL Exam Date 2024​


The SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 2 exam is being conducted to fill up various group ‘B’ and group ‘C’ posts in different ministries, departments, organisations of the government of India, and various constitutional bodies, statutory bodies, tribunals, and others.

SSC CGLE​


SSC CGLE means Combined Graduate Level Examination. SSCCHSE means Combined Higher Secondary Examination.

SSC GD means Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFS), NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination.

SSC JE​


SSC JE means Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination.

How to Check SSC Exam Calendar 2024?​


The Staff Selection Commission has released a revised the SSC exams calendar 2022-23. SSC has now changed the notification dates for various posts including constable driver, head constable AWO/TPO, SI, scientific assistant, JHT, MTS, JE, stenographer, MTS and constable executive.

Students can check the tentative dates for various SSC exams from the new calendar available on the official website, ssc.nic.in. Candidates can download the complete schedule from the site of SSC by following these simple steps.

  • Open the official website of SSC.
  • In the notification section, look for the notification of July 06 that reads, “Revised Calendar of SSC Examinations”.
  • Click on the link and download the pdf for further use.

The candidates preparing for various SSC examinations must note that the commission will hold all the mentioned tests in the computer-based mode. Therefore, candidates are advised to take mock tests of CBE before the actual examination.

SSC Exam Calendar mentions dates of some pending exams and some new/upcoming 2022 exams. The registration process for these exams would begin with SSC CGL Tier I exam in December. The registration for SSC CHSL Tier I exam would commence in February and so on.

Candidates are informed that all the examination dates are for 2022-23 and no CBE exam/written exam will be held in the remaining days of the year, as per this calendar.

The Staff Selection Commission, SSC has released an important notice regarding the examination date and schedule of various recruitment exams like Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE), Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSLE), Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination (MTS) and others.

SSC Recruitment Exam Schedule​


The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct around 26 recruitment exams during the next one-and-a-half-year period, inform officials. The calendar is now available on the official website.

As per the calendar, two of the biggest SSC recruitment exams that attract most applications like Combined graduate level exam (CGL) and Combined higher secondary level exam (CHSL) will have their preliminary exams as per the schedule. Candidates can check the from the direct link here.

As per the SSC calendar, Staff Selection Commission will hold the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination tentatively in April. This will be followed by the Tier-I examination of Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) (CHSL) examination in May.

The final date of examination will be confirmed by SSC at a later stage of the process. SSC plans to conduct a total of 15 recruitment examinations between April and June 2024.

The Multi-Tasking (non-technical) staff examination will be conducted in June whereas the Selection Post examination, Phase-X, 2022 is slated for July next year.

As 2024 will move towards its second half, SSC will hold a recruitment examination of Delhi Police’s head constable (ministerial) in September followed by a recruitment test of Constable driver in October.

Next on the calendar is Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination. These exams are expected to be held in December.

The same month, the examination for Junior Translator, Junior Hindi Translator and Senior Hindi Translator Examination, 2021 (paper-I) is also slated.

2024 in the SSC calendar will begin with the Scientific Assistant in IMD exams. This will be followed by MTS (civilian) in Delhi Police Examination in February and Paper- I of junior engineer (civil, mechanical, electrical and quantity surveying & contracts) Examination in March.

In April, Stenographer Grade C & D examination is slated to be conducted. The tentative calendar comes to end with the recruitment of constable (executive) male/ female in Delhi Police in May. And constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles for which examination will be conducted in June 2024.
