Sports Channel Giant Likely To Begin Round of Layoff: One of the most famous American sports channels, Entertainment and Sports Programming Network is commonly known as ESPN is likely to begin its layoff next week as a part of a second round of layoff in the Walt Disney firm, which is a parent company of ESPN.

Previously, Disney CEO Mr. Bob Iger states that they are planning to bring layoff in 3 modes of waves by giving pink slips to over 7000 employees. As a part of this, the company performed a first round of layoffs by showing the door to some employees in the metaverse strategies unit and Beijing office in last month.

According to the report, these job cuts will also include some on-air talents and management. This upcoming layoff in ESPN is considered a second round; the company does not disclosed any counts. The company is reducing its work heads to minimize its spending cost to improve the profit amount against a slow-paced economy.​
