Before we part with this judgment, we musttake a note of subsection (5) added to Section 313 of CrPC w.e.f. 31st December 2009. Subsection (5) reads thus :“313. Power to examine the accused.(5) The Court may take help ofProsecutor and Defence Counsel inpreparing relevant questions which areto be put to the accused and the Courtmay permit filing of written statementby the accused as sufficient
