Seven agreements were signed between India and Nepal in the fields of trade and commerce, laying of cross-border petroleum pipelines, developing integrated checkposts, hydropower projects and payment systems. He also inaugurated Integrated Check Post between Rupaidiha to Nepalganj and Sonauli to Bhairahwa. The two leaders also laid the foundation stone for the second phase of the Motihari to Amlekhganj pipeline project. He inaugurated the construction works of 400 KW capacity power transmission sub-station between Gorakhpur and New Butawal.

The Dehradun station of All India Radio will also broadcast news in Kumaoni dialect . This bulletin will be broadcast daily from Dehradun and Almora centers of All India Radio from 7:30 PM to 7:40 PM. All India Radio Dehradun is already broadcasting news in Garhwali dialect from 6.50 pm to 7.00 pm every day.

4 Defense Ministry approves proposal to resume air travel facility for the people of Ladakh by Indian Air Force aircraft​

The Defense Ministry has approved the proposal of the Ladakh Administration to resume air travel facility for the citizens of Ladakh in Indian Air Force aircraft. Lieutenant Governor Brigadier B. D. Mishra gave this information in a tweet. He expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Defense on behalf of the people of Ladakh. According to the order of the Ministry of Defense, citizens of Ladakh can travel to other parts of the country from Leh, Thoise and Kargil airports. Citizens will be provided travel facility against vacant seats in the aircraft and they will have to pay airlift charges which will be notified from time to time. This facility was stopped for three years at the time of Kovid pandemic, which is now being started.

5 Dr. S. Jaishankar is on a two-day visit to South Africa and Namibia, this is the first ever visit by an Indian Foreign Minister to Namibia.​

Dr. Jaishankar is on a two-day visit to South Africa and Namibia. This is the first visit to Namibia by an Indian Foreign Minister.

6 US House of Representatives passes debt ceiling deal as default threatens​

The US House of Representatives has approved a proposal through which the government has been allowed to borrow more . The resolution was passed at a time when the world’s largest economy is facing a debt servicing crisis. The Fiscal Responsibility Bill aims to raise the debt ceiling and set limits on government spending in the country. The House approved the motion with a huge margin. 314 votes were cast in its favor and 117 votes were cast against it. The debt ceiling is the maximum amount that the US government is legally allowed to borrow to meet its expenses and obligations. It was established in the year 1917 during the First World War. So far the current debt ceiling has been set at US$ 31.4 trillion. This means that the government cannot borrow more than this amount without the approval of Congress.

10 New species of ‘eel’ discovered in Odisha’s Palur canal​

Scientists of the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) have identified a new species of eel in the Palur canal in Ganjam district of Odisha . Named after the ancient Odisha, it is named Psiodonophis kalinga , it belongs to the eel family Ophichthidae and order Anguiliformes. it looks like a snake and its length can be from 560 millimeters to 7 meters. The discovery was made in the Chilka Lagoon, the largest brackish water lagoon in Asia, and the nearby Palur Canal. The new species, Psiodonophis kalinga, is abundant in the region during the monsoon season from September to November. DNA analysis confirmed its difference from the previously assumed Psiodonophis boreo (rice-paddy eel). With this discovery, the total number of Psiodonophis species in Indian waters has increased to three.

India won the title by defeating Kazakhstan in the final at the National Sports Council’s Covered Hall in Tripureshwar, Kathmandu. India beat Kazakhstan in shared sets 3-0. India won the first set 25-15, the second set 25-22 and the third set 25-18. With this, India ended the tournament by remaining undefeated. 20 Income proof mandatory for investing more than Rs 10 lakh in savings schemes​

The central government has now made it mandatory to give income proof for investing more than Rs 10 lakh in post office savings schemes. Is done. The Department of Posts informed that this circular has been issued due to amendment in norms for KYC, AML (Anti Money Laundering) and to combat CFT (financing of terrorism). As per the circular issued by the Department of Posts, Customers are being classified on the basis of risk. In addition to KYC, high-risk customers will also have to submit income proof documents. Customers whose total deposits in all their accounts do not exceed Rs 50,000 will be placed in the low-risk category. Customers whose total balance in all their accounts is more than Rs.50,000 and less than Rs.10 lakh will be placed in the medium risk category and customers whose balance in all their accounts will be more than Rs.10 lakh will be classified as high risk.
