Several parts of India are currently facing a severe heatwave, with temperatures soaring above 40 degrees Celsius in many regions. In response, several state governments have taken measures to protect students from the scorching temperatures. In Jharkhand, school hours have been adjusted, with younger students attending from 7 am to 11:30 am and older students until noon. Similarly, in Odisha, schools will operate from 6:30 am to 10:30 am from April 22nd to 24th, with summer break starting on April 25th.
