The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment for 13,735 Junior Associate positions in its Customer Support and Sales section. Interested candidates can apply via the official website sbi.co.in until January 7. Applicants must be aged between 20 and 28 years.
The preliminary exam for the SBI Clerk position is expected to be held in February, with the mains exam scheduled between March and April. The application fee is Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD/XS candidates and Rs 600 for General and OBC candidates.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university or equivalent. Those with an integrated dual degree (IDD) should ensure the degree date matches the eligibility criteria. Ex-servicemen who have completed at least 15 years of service and hold an Indian Army special certificate of education or equivalent are also eligible.
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST candidates: 5 years
OBC candidates: 3 years
PWD (General): 10 years
PWD (SC/ST): 15 years
PWD (OBC): 13 years
Jammu & Kashmir residents (1980–1989): 5 years
Ex-servicemen: service period plus 3 years (6 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen from SC/ST)
Widows, divorced women, and judicially separated women: 9 years (up to 40 years for SC/ST candidates)
Selection Process:
The selection consists of two online exams: a preliminary test and a mains exam. The prelims will assess English, quantitative, and reasoning abilities in 1 hour for 100 marks. The mains exam will cover general awareness, financial awareness, English, quantitative, reasoning, and computer aptitude. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance, and the top-ranked individuals will be invited for an interview in a 3:1 ratio per vacancy.
