The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha has officially announced the commencement of the application process for Class 11 Admissions 2023.

As of today, May 29, interested candidates can submit their applications through the dedicated online portal, samsodisha.gov.in. This online application window will remain open until June 20, 2023. The upcoming academic session for Class 11 is set to kick off on July 29, 2023. To streamline the registration process and ensure efficiency, the Directorate will be employing the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) for admissions. SAMS will handle the admissions process for Class 11 across various streams, including Arts, Science, Commerce, Upashastri, and Vocational courses. This encompassing approach will cover all Higher Secondary Schools (HSSs) in Odisha affiliated with CHSE (O). Moreover, as part of the admission process, 93 Higher Secondary Schools will offer Vocational courses. As for eligibility, applicants must have successfully cleared the High School Certificate (HSC) Examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, or its equivalent boards. The application fee for admission is set at Rs. 200, with a reduced fee of Rs. 100 for candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories.
