: All the District Educational Officers in the State are informed that the existing 9-period pattern of school time table for Upper Primary Schools and High Schools have been revised into 8 periods pattern of school time table and workload from the year 2020-21 for effective implementation of overall development of the learner-based teaching-learning process, keeping in view of the RTE recommendations, The rc.279 details are as follows.

New School timings: AP UPS and High Schools New School Time Table

A. UPS (VI to VIII) 8 Periods Pattern School Time Table:

1. First Bell: 9.00 AM
2. Second Bell:9.05 AM
3. School Assembly:9.05 – 9.15 AM (10 min)
4. First Period:9.15 – 10.00 AM (45 min)
5. Second Period:10.00 – 10.45 AM (45 min)
6. Break:10.45-10.55 AM (10 min)
7. Third Period:10.55 – 11.40 AM (45 min)
8. Fourth Period:11.40 – 12.25 AM (45 min)
9. Lunch Break:12.25 – 1.15 PM (50 min)
10. Fifth Period:1.15 – 2.00 PM (45 min)
11. Sixth Period:2.00 – 2.40 PM (40 min)
12. Break:2.40 – 2.50 PM (10 min)
13. Seventh Period:2.50 – 3.30 PM (40 min)
