Peking University has retained its top position in the QS Asia University Rankings 2024. The list includes 856 colleges from 25 different places, with 148 universities being ranked for the first time. The University of Hong Kong and the National University of Singapore (NUS) secured the second and third positions respectively. India has the highest number of universities on the list, with 148 featured. Myanmar, Cambodia, and Nepal are included in the rankings for the first time. Ben Sowter, Senior Vice President of QS, praised the growth of Indian universities and their research contributions.
