He said this in the context of the Madiga community’s demand for categorizing the Scheduled Castes . The Prime Minister was speaking at a rally of Madiga Reservation Porata Committee . The Madiga community is one of the largest components of the Scheduled Castes in the Telugu states , and demands classification as a Scheduled Caste.

This song has been composed by singer and lyricist Falguni Shah and her husband singer Gaurav . The song also contains excerpts from the speech given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the inauguration of the Global Sri Lankan Conference in New Delhi in March this year. This song was released in June this year. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization had declared 2023 as the International Year of Grain on India’s initiative. 3 Winter session of Parliament starts from December 4​

As per the announcement of the Central Government , the winter session of Parliament will begin from December 4, 2023 . This will also be the first plenary session to be held in the new Parliament House . A five-day special session was held in September 2023 , during which the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha formally announced that they would hold their meetings in the new building. There is no fixed parliamentary calendar in India. By convention (i.e. not provided for by the Constitution), Parliament meets for three sessions a year . There is a provision for recess in the session so that parliamentary committees can discuss budgetary proposals. The second session is the three-week monsoon session, which usually begins in July and ends in August. The third session is winter session.

13. Sun exposure at work is a major factor in skin cancer deaths: Report​

A significant and growing burden of non-melanoma skin cancer is affecting outdoor workers, with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Labor Organization reporting that approximately one-third of deaths from non-melanoma skin cancer are caused by exposure to sunlight. These estimates have been published in the Environment International Journal. In 2019, approximately 1.6 billion people of working age (15 years and older) were exposed to solar ultraviolet radiation while working outdoors. This is 28% of all persons of working age. Tragically, that same year, approximately 19,000 people in 183 countries lost their lives to non-melanoma skin cancer caused by working outside in the sun. Of these, 65% were men.

Total hidden cost of India’s agri-food systems nearly $1.1 trillion have reached nearly $1.1 trillion, making it the third-largest contributor in the world after China and the United States, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).   1. Environmental costs: These include costs associated with greenhouse gas emissions, nitrogen emissions, water use, and land-use change.
  2. Health costs: There are hidden health costs that result from lost productivity due to unhealthy dietary patterns.
  3. Social costs: These costs are associated with poverty and productivity loss associated with undernutrition among agri-food workers.
