1 Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates new airport terminals at Gwalior and Jabalpur taking the total to fifteen airport terminals in the country
The Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 15 airport projects worth more than Rs 9800 crore across the country . He inaugurated 12 new terminal buildings at Pune, Kolhapur, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Delhi, Lucknow, Aligarh, Azamgarh, Chitrakoot, Moradabad, Shravasti and Adampur airports. Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of three new terminal buildings at Cuddapah, Hubli and Belagavi airports. In the inauguration program of Gwalior Airport, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced to increase the wages of unskilled, semi-skilled and agricultural laborers. He said that on the basis of disability and death, workers and their families will be given financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh instead of Rs 1 lakh. On this occasion, the statue of Rajmata Vijayraje Scindia was also unveiled.

3 Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched Mahtari Vandan Yojana in Chhattisgarh
Promoting women empowerment in Chhattisgarh , Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched Mahtari Vandana Yojana and distributed the first installment under the scheme. This scheme has been launched in Chhattisgarh to provide financial assistance of Rs 1000 per month in the form of monthly Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to eligible married women of the state. It is envisaged to ensure economic empowerment of women, provide them financial security, promote gender equality and strengthen the decisive role of women in the family. This scheme will provide benefits to all eligible married women of the state who are above 21 years of age as on January 1, 2024 . Widows, divorced and abandoned women will also be eligible for this scheme. About 70 lakh women will benefit from the scheme.

The first India Steam Boiler Expo 2024 was inaugurated at the Veterinary College Field in Khanapara , Guwahati . The three-day long program ended on March 7 . INS Tir, the lead ship of the 1st Training Squadron (1TS) participated in Exercise CutlassExpress – 24 (CE – 24) conducted at PortVictoria , Seychelles from 26 February to 08 March 2024 . The exercise was inaugurated by the President of Seychelles in the presence of dignitaries from India, the US and African countries . Indian Navy is actively engaging with participants from 16 friendly nations as part of Cutlass Express. Training was conducted on theoretical and practical aspects of maritime interdiction operations, visit board search and seizure procedures and diving operations.
