10 Earth’s temporary mini-moon
A recent study shows that Earth’s gravitational field has temporarily attracted a small asteroid called 2024 PT5 by the end of September 2024. Mini-moons refer to small asteroids that are temporarily attracted by Earth’s gravity, resulting in short-lived orbital paths around the planet. These celestial bodies are usually small in size and often go undetected.
