Jammu and Kashmir ‘s para archer
Sheetal Devi was honored with the Arjuna Award. Sheetal Devi has become the first para archer from India to win two gold medals in the Asian Para Games. She is also the first international archer to achieve this feat without suffering from
phocomelia . He has also secured a place in the 2024 Paris Para Olympic Games. Sheetal Devi is a resident of remote village Lohi Dhar in Kishtwar district of Jammu division.

Bhupendra Patel . Spread over an area of two lakh square meters, the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit Trade Show will be India’s largest global trade show ever. A total of 100 countries are participating in the five-day conference as guest countries and 33 countries as partners. More than a thousand research field representatives from 20 countries including Australia, South Korea, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Britain, Germany and Norway will participate in it. This time the conference will be organized in 13 halls. All the halls will be dedicated to various themes including ‘Make in Gujarat’ and ‘Self-reliant India’. About 450 MSME units will also be included in this. The trade show will showcase cutting-edge products and services across various sectors including emerging industries such as electric vehicles, green hydrogen, renewable energy, cyber security, among others.

Indra Mani Pandey took charge as the new
Secretary General of seven-member
BIMSTEC . Pandey, a 1990 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), was working as
India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in
Geneva . Apart from India, BIMSTEC includes Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Nepal and Bhutan. Pandey took charge at the BIMSTEC Secretariat in Dhaka as its fourth Secretary General. He replaced Bhutan’s Tenzin Lekfel. His tenure on this prestigious post will be for three years.

the Kala Utsav is an initiative of the Ministry to promote arts in learning and education as well as to enhance the talent and performance of school students. Director Dinesh Saklani was present. Apollo program . Peregrine Lunar Lander, also known as Peregrine Mission-1, is a lunar lander built by Astrobotic Technology. It is part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) program, which aims to stimulate a broader lunar economy. NASA is partnering with various US companies under the CLPS initiative to deliver science and technology payloads to the lunar surface. The purpose of the CLPS contract is to facilitate lunar exploration, experimentation, and technology demonstration in preparation for upcoming manned missions. It is expected to reach the mid-latitude region of the Moon called Sinus Viscositatis or Bay of Stickiness.

12 ICC amends stumping, concussion substitute rules
