In the Independence Day speech today,the Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi,thanked the Supreme Court of India for making court judgments available in regional languages.
The Prime Minister thanked the Chief Justice of India from the ramparts of Red Fort wjeee the CJI was among the PM dignitaries attending the event.
The Prime Minister said he would like to thank would the Supreme Court of India for making the judgements available to the teeming millions in their own language.
The PM in his speech added that the Supreme Court has clarified that operative part of the judgments will be made available in regional language to the party who has come to the Court.
Emphasising the need and significance of mother tongue is increasing and this is a welcome effort.
