Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Sambalpur, Odisha. Having laid the foundation stone via video conferencing on January 2, 2021, he praised the completion despite pandemic challenges. The Prime Minister also launched projects worth over Rs 68,000 crore, focusing on energy, roads, railways, and higher education. Emphasizing Odisha's development, he highlighted the impact on various sections of society and the creation of employment opportunities for the youth. The visit is part of the Prime Minister's tour of Odisha and Assam on February 3-4.
