PJTSAU has released the TS MPC Stream Agriculture BTech Admission 2023 on its official website, pjtsau.edu.in. Candidates who have qualified in the Telangana EAMCET may apply online. This admission notification for B.Tech.(Ag Engg) and B.Tech.(Food Tech) courses under MPC Farmer quota.

Online Application has been released for admission into B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) and B.Tech. (Food Technology) courses under FARMER’S QUOTA for the Academic Year 2023-22. Last date for submission of Agri BTech Application form is 27-09-2023.

Agriculture B.Tech​


Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University has issued a notification for the filling up of Farmers quota seats in the Agricultural Engineering (BTech), Food Technology (BTech). 18 seats in agricultural engineering and 18 seats in food technology would be filled based on the TS EAMCET 2023 rankings.

To get a seat in the Farmers quota, the candidate must have studied in a rural area for at least four years. Eligible to get a seat if the mother, father, or any of the candidates own at least one acre of land

MPC Stream Farmers Quota​


The seats in the M.P.C. stream courses of PJTSAU viz., B.Tech.(Agricultural Engineering) and B.Tech.(Food Technology) shall be filled up based on the Ranks obtained in the Telangana EAMCET 2023 along with other engineering courses through single window system of Telangana State Council of Higher Education.

The hostel facility to the selected candidates shall be provided subject to availability. Hence, the candidates who wish to seek admission into the above M.P.C. stream courses of PJTSAU are informed to attend the counselling conducted by the Convener of EAMCET Telangana State.

The applicants are informed to visit university website to see the fee structure for the academic year 2023-24. The seats in the MPC Stream courses of PJTSAU under Farmers Quota shall be filled up by the University. The admission notification will be issued shortly. Candidates may visit the University website for regular updates .

Farmers’ Quota:​


The candidates coming from families of Agriculturists (Farmers) owning not less than 3 acres of land either in the name of the parents or in the name of the candidates and who have studied for a minimum of 4 years upto intermediate or its equivalent located in Non-Municipal areas. If the land is owned by grandfather, grandmother or guardian or any other relations it is not acceptable.

The seats in the M.P.C. stream courses of PJTSAU under Non-Farmers quota viz., B.Tech.(Agricultural Engineering) and B.Tech.(Food Technology) shall be filled up based on the Ranks obtained in the Telangana EAMCET 2023 along with other engineering courses through single window system of Telangana State Council of Higher Education.

The hostel facility to the selected candidates shall be provided subject to availability. Hence, the candidates who wish to seek admission into the above M.P.C. stream courses of PJTSAU are informed to attend the counselling conducted by the Convener of EAMCET Telangana State.

MPC Stream Agriculture Courses Admission notification:​


PJTSAU MPC stream Agriculture B.Tech Degree Online Application form: Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into MPC stream courses viz: B.Tech.(Agricultural Engineering) and B.Tech.(Food Technology) under Farmers Quota for the academic year 2020-21 based on the ranks obtained in Telangana EAMCET 2023.

The last date for online submission of duly filled in application for the above courses is to be notified. The Prospectus and Instructions for the applicants are displayed on the University website .

The applicants are informed to visit University website for the information pertaining to the dates for verification of certificates and for further procedure.

The candidates who want to join admission into above M.P.C. stream courses of PJTSAU are informed to attend the counseling conducted by the Convener EAMCET of Telangana State.

UG Degree Courses​

  1. B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) (Regular (Only Farmers’ Quota) and Self-financing (Non-Farmer & Farmers’ Quota)) (4 Years)
  2. B.Tech. (Food Technology) (Regular (Only Farmers’ Quota) and Self-financing (Non-Farmer & Farmers’ Quota)) (4 Years)
  3. B.Sc.(Hons.) Community Science (4 Years) (Regular and Self-financing) for Non-Rural and Rural Quota (4 Years)

Eligibility:​


All the below mentioned five conditions are to be fulfilled to be eligible to apply under Farmer’s Quota.

A pass in two year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University or Intermediate Board with the following subjects namely: i. Physical Sciences ii. Mathematics

A candidate should have studied in a Non-Municipal Area for at least four years between 1st class to Intermediate or its equivalent.

Minimum ONE acre of land either in the name of the parents or in the name of the candidates. If the land is owned by grandfather, grandmother or guardian or any other relations is not acceptable.

The selection of candidates for all the seats shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in Telangana State EAMCET in their respective local areas out of the merit list prepared for this purpose. The candidates will be selected based on merit by following rule of reservation.

The candidates for admission to these courses shall be required to have completed 17 years of age with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates, 25 years in respect of SC and ST candidates and 27 years for Physically Handicapped candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Selection Process:​


Criteria for selection: FORM-I: It is a proforma indicating the patta numbers and extent of land owned by the candidate/parents duly certified by the Tahsildar with his office seal (or) the candidate has to enclose attested photocopies of pattadar passbook as an evidence of the extent of land(to be uploaded).

Form-II: It is a proforma to be certified by the Head Master of the School with his office seal that the candidate has studied for a minimum period of four years in schools/colleges located in Non-Municipal areas during their period of study from 1st class to 12th class / Intermediate (Non-Municipal Area Certificate) (to be uploaded).

Form-I and Form-II need to be filled in with the signatures of concerned officials viz., Tahsildar and concerned Head of Institution, respectively, along with office seal and to be uploaded. Otherwise, the claim of the candidates under this category will be summarily rejected.

Registration Fee/Payment of application fee:​


For applicants belonging to OC and BC social status, the amount is Rs. 1,200/- (Application Fee) + Rs. 50 /- (Online Processing Fee) and for applicants belonging to SC, ST social status and PH, the fee is Rs. 600/- (Application Fee) + Rs. 50 /- (Online Processing Fee).

The applicant has to select Debit Card /Credit Card (Visa / Master Card)/NET banking/ Wallet option to pay the application fee and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of a fee

The last date for online submission of duly filled in application for the above courses is mentioned above in the table. The Prospectus and Instructions for the applicants are displayed on the University website

The dates, venue and the list of the candidates called for the manual counselling will be placed in the University website . No separate notification with regard to counselling shall be issued.

Original certificates to be produced at the time of Admission:​


Original certificates to be produced at the time of Admission: The candidates granted admission, should at the time of admission submit the following certificates in Original.

  • Pass Certificate-cum-Memorandum of Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination (Intermediate)
  • Hall Ticket & Rank Card of EAMCET.
  • SSC or equivalent examination Certificate.
  • The Community Certificate in the case of candidates belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, signed by the competent authority.
  • Bonafide or Study certificates. (VI to XII)
  • Residence Certificate, if necessary.
  • An Income Certificate of father/mother to be signed by any officer not below the rank of the
  • Tahsildar of the Revenue Department of the Mandal concerned.
  • Transfer Certificate from the College or School where the candidate last studied.

Instructions to Candidates:​


1. The guidelines of the Government of Telangana from time to time shall be followed. Fees once paid to the University shall not be refunded under any circumstances. In addition, the candidate has to pay the cancellation fee, if the candidate leaves the institution.

Candidates called for counselling shall have to attend at their own cost only One of the Parents/ Guardian of the candidate will be allowed for counselling.

The candidate who secures a seat, should submit the certificates in Original along with the prescribed fees at the time of counselling. The University does not guarantee any employment to the candidates.

The applicant is informed that mere submission of an online application and attending to the counselling do not guarantee the allotment of seat.

Candidates are required to read the PROSPECTUS thoroughly. For any other information, that is not mentioned in the PROSPECTUS, the candidates may contact the following phone numbers between 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM only on all working days.

How to fill the online application form​


The applicant should use only Chrome/Firefox browsers while filling the application online. Do not use the back button of the browsers. Use the links and buttons available on the page to move from one page to another.

The applicants should note that the admissions will be made as per the relevant government orders applicable at the time of admission. It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure that he/she fulfils the specified eligibility in toto before submitting the online application.

Only ONLINE application will be accepted. No application will be accepted in any other format and will be summarily rejected. The applicant should read and understand all the instructions (Click here to download) and eligibility criteria for admission before proceeding to fill the online application form. The applicant is advised to take a print out of the instructions so that he/she can refer to the same while filling the form

The applicant should furnish all the details while filling the Online Application Form. While filling the online application form, the applicant is advised to save the application in draft form until final submission.

After successful submission of the data, an application number will be generated and this can be used for future correspondence. Request for change in any particulars once given in the application will not be entertained

The scanned passport size (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) photograph of the applicant should be in JPEG format of and not exceed 50 KB file size. The applicant’s signature should be scanned in JPEG format of [3.5 cm x1.5 cm] and not exceed 1MB file size. Hall Ticket and Rank Card of EAMCET of Telangana State. SSC Memorandum of Marks or equivalent examination certificate, showing the evidence of the Date of Birth.

Pass Certificate cum Memorandum of Marks obtained by the applicant in the qualifying examination (Intermediate or its equivalent). Bonafide / Study Certificate from 6th to 12th Class.

In case, an applicant belongs to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, the latest certified copy of the Social Status Certificate issued by the competent authority.

Residential Certificate (Those applicants who are having a break in the years of study for reasons other than failure or those who passed the qualifying examination by private study have to submit this certificate issued by the Tahsildar. In case, the applicant has resided in more than one place, separate certificate from the Tahsildar, should be furnished for such places of residence).

Agricultural Land Holding Certificate – FORM-I (Click here to download): It is a proforma indicating the patta numbers and extent of land owned by the applicant / parents duly certified by the Tahsildar with his office seal (or) the applicant has to upload attested photo copies of pattadar pass book as an evidence of the extent of land.

Non-Municipal Area Certificate – FORM-II (Click here to download): It is a proforma to be certified by the Head Master of the School with his office seal that the applicant has studied for a minimum period of four years in schools/colleges located in Non-Municipal areas during the period of study from 1st class to 12th class / Intermediate.

If an applicant has been found to have furnished wrong information or deliberately suppressed any relevant information or uploaded improper documents, his/her application will be summarily rejected.
