Indian medical graduates can now practice and pursue post-graduation in countries like the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, thanks to the National Medical Commission (NMC) receiving recognition from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME). This recognition applies to all 706 existing NMC-regulated medical colleges, with new colleges set to gain automatic WFME accreditation over the next decade. This achievement enhances India's global reputation in medical education and promotes collaboration and quality assurance in the field.
