Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) Rohtak has maintained its spot in the top 100 universities in the NIRF 2023 rankings, despite slipping two ranks to 96. Among state universities, it ranks highest in the rankings released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, while Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar is ranked 99. Additionally, MDU's department of pharmaceutical science has been ranked 35th, among the top 50 pharmacy departments/institutes in the country. VC Prof. Rajbir Singh has congratulated stakeholders and emphasized efforts to improve performance next year. PGIMS Rohtak has ranked 49th in the medical institutions category.
