The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced that students who have studied physics, chemistry, biology, or biotechnology along with English as an additional subject after completing class 12 from recognized boards will be eligible to appear in the NEET-UG test. This decision will also apply to students whose applications were previously rejected. The NMC's decision comes after the Delhi High Court quashed the previous provisions that required two years of regular study of these subjects in Class 11 and 12.
