New MTech Course at JMI Focuses on Environmental Health and Risk Management

MTech programme in Environmental Health, Risk, and Safety Management has been launched by Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI).

The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has launched an MTech programme in Environmental Health, Risk, and Safety Management. Interested students can apply for the MTech degree at the official Jamia website — jmicoe.in. which will be applicable till October 27.

MTech programme in Environmental Health, Risk, and Safety Management will be a two-year long course consisting of four semesters and the tuition fees for the programme at Rs 45,275 per year. The entrance date for the programme commences from November 3; to apply, the students will have to fill a form accessible at the JMI website. To get admitted applicants will have to give an entrance exam conducted by JMI.

Eligibility criteria for this course is that the applicants should have a degree in MSc in Environmental Studies/ Environmental Science, BTech, BE BPlanning from any university or institution that is recognised by AICTE/ UGC, with at least 55 percent marks or an equivalent grade in qualifying exam.

This programme is tailored to equip graduates with a deep understanding of environmental pollution, occupational safety, and the health risks prevalent in industries. The course curriculum covers crucial issues such as water scarcity, pollution control, and industrial safety, with a focus on preparing students to implement effective environmental policies and manage occupational health systems.
