NTA Admit Card 2023 Download from here. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2023 official website is working.

Candidates who will be appearing for the NEET examination can check the official site for NEET details and also download the information bulletin of NEET.

NEET UG Exam Date​


NEET UG examination will be held on 07-05-2023. All the appearing candidates can check the important dates, information on admit card download and other related instructions. Students who have registered for the examination would be aware that the NEET 2023 examination is scheduled on May 7.

NTA has released a short notice informing the applicants of NEET UG 2023 that the downloading of admit cards for the exam shall commence shortly.

According to the official notice, NTA has already informed the candidates about the exam centre city they have been allotted and the admit card will be issued separately.

NEET UG Exam City Intimation slip​


National Testing Agency is conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) at different Centres throughout the country from 02:00 P.M. to 05:20 P.M.

The candidates are required to check or download their Examination City Intimation slip of NEET UG 2023 by using your Application No. and Date of Birth from the official website . and go through the instructions contained therein as well as in the Information Bulletin.

The Candidates may please note that this is NOT the Admit Card for NEET UG. This is an advance information for the allotment of the City (Advance Information for Allotment of Centre City to the Applicant) where the Examination Centre will be located, to facilitate the candidates.

The Admit Card of NEET UG shall be issued later. In case any candidate faces difficulty in downloading or checking the Examination City Intimation Slip for NEET UG, he/she can contact or e-mail at help desk The Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official websites for the latest updates.

How to download NEET UG exam city intimation slip?​


First visit the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. Click on the examination city intimation link available on the home page. After clicking on that link, a new window will be opened. Candidates have to fill in the required credentials to log-in. After that download the exam city intimation slip

What is the paper pattern for NEET UG Exam?​


NEET UG Exam’s paper pattern is likely to be similar to that of NEET 2021. According to that, this paper would have 200 questions for 720 marks. The detailed pattern is given below.

Once NEET admit card 2023 is released, candidates may download the same from the official website at ntaneet.nic.in. The admit card will have the date, time and venue of the examination. Special instructions and preventive measures for the candidates shall also be mentioned in the admit card in view of the Coronavirus.

The NEET UG examination would be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm on the designated date. The examination is the largest national level undergraduate eligibility and entrance test for medical and dental courses.

Most of the application process for NEET 2023 has been completed, along with correction in the online application form. The next important date is the time when the NEET 2023 admit card would be released.

NEET UG Exam 2023 admit card:​


NTA has informed about the dates of the release of NEET UG Exam 2023 admit cards. The candidates who have applied for the exams can check the notice on the official website nta.ac.in. The exam dates along with the schedule are also available on the website. Complete schedule along with guidelines is awaited still.

The NTA has informed in the notice that the admit cards would be available at least 15 days prior to the respective examinations. The NEET exam is to be conducted from July 26 as per NTA, therefore the admit card is expected at least by July 11, 2023. The lastest the admit cards will be available would be by July second week.

How to download NEET UG Admit Card 2023?​


NTA released the admit cards for NEET UG level exam (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET undergraduate Level Exam) . Candidates who have registered for the exam can download their NEET UG Admit card from the official website at .

    Students need to visit the official website of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET undergraduate Level Exam, .

  2. Click on 'NEET UG Admit card' Tab
    Once you reach the NEET UG web portal in your device, you can click on the link which says, “NEET UG admit card” on the homepage. It will be redirected to new web page.

  3. Enter Login details
    In the admit card downloading web page, enter your login details such as registration number and password. Click on submit and NEET Admit Card 2023 will be displayed on the screen.

  4. Download Admit Card
    Download the NEET Admit Card 2023 and take print out of the same.

Important Information about Admit Card​


Candidates may please note that Admit Cards will not be sent by post. When candidate will download the Admit Card, a copy of the same in PDF format will also be emailed to the candidate on the registered email id.

The Admit Card will contain the candidate’s Roll Number, Name, Father’s Name, Category, Sub-Category, Photograph, Signature, Date of Birth, Language of Question Paper with Name and Address of examination Centre allotted. The candidates are advised to cross-check all the information written on the admit card. In case of correction need, approach the exam officials immediately.

NEET UG Exam Pattern
  • Each question carries four marks
  • For each correct answer/best option, the candidate will get 04 (four) marks
  • For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score
  • To answer a question, the candidate has to find, for each question, the correct answer/ best option.

However, after the process of the challenge of the key, if more than one option is found to be correct then all/any one of the multiple correct/best options marked will be given four marks (+4). Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).

Unanswered/unattempted questions will be given no marks. In case, a question is dropped/ ignored, all candidates will be given four marks (+4) irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.

NEET UG Exam Day Schedule​


The NTA will conduct the NEET examination on May 7, in a single shift from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm. The duration of NEET (UG) 2023 will be 03 hours from 02:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. Candidates should note that no entry will be allowed after 1.30 p.m. in the examination hall.

Candidates should also note that the Examination Centre will open two (02) hours before the commencement of the test. No candidate will be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after 1:30 p.m.

Therefore, candidates must ensure that they leave home well in advance considering all facts like traffic, location of the centre and weather conditions, etc. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall.

Admissions to the MBBS/BDS seats will be done through NEET (UG) 2023 in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.

The NEET UG will be conducted in offline mode i.e., pen and paper test. Candidates should also note that the admissions in 100% MBBS/BDS seats will be done through the NEET (UG) only. There will be negative marking in NEET (UG). Each correct answer will get 04 marks and for each incorrect response, 01 mark will be deducted from the total score.

NEET UG Question paper language​


The NEET (UG) will be conducted in many regional languages like – Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Candidates, please note that the allotment of the medium of language would be State-specific. If any candidate is opting regional language as a medium of question paper, he/she will be allotted centre only in respective states of particular regional language.

Candidates opting for regional languages would be provided Bilingual Test Booklet i.e. in the selected language and in English. In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English version shall be treated as final.

Documents to be carried on the NEET UG exam day​


Candidates must bring the following documents on the day of examination at the test centre. Candidates who will not bring these will not be allowed to sit in the examination and will lead to his/her disqualification.

  • Print copy of Admit Card downloaded from NTA’s website.
  • One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at Centre during NEET (UG) Examination.
  • Anyone of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired) – PAN card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhaar Card (with the photograph)/Ration Card/any other.
  • PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.

NEET UG Banned Items​


The candidates are not allowed to carry the following items inside the Examination Centre under any circumstances. The candidates will be subjected to extensive and compulsory frisking before entering the Examination Centre with the help of highly sensitive metal detectors.

  • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner etc.
  • Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band etc.
  • Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
  • Any Watch/Wrist Watch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.
  • Any ornaments
  • Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle etc.
  • Any other item which could be used for unfair means, by hiding communication devices like a microchip, camera, Bluetooth device etc.

NEET UG Dress Code:​


The candidates are instructed to follow the following dress code while appearing for NEET (UG) 2023: a) Light clothes with half sleeves, long sleeves are not permitted. However in case, candidates come in cultural/ customary dress at the Examination Centre, they should report at least an hour before the last reporting time i.e. 12.30 noon so that there is enough time for proper frisking without any inconvenience to the candidate while maintaining the sanctity of the examination.

b) Slippers, sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not permitted. It is advised that the candidates must follow instructions issued by the NTA strictly.

    The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2023 will be held on September 12 across the country.

  2. What is NEET UG Exam Date?​


    NEET 2023 Exam Date has not been officially announced yet by National Testing Agency, NTA. However, sources have shared with us that due to NEET UG Counselling and Board Exams, NEET UG will be conducted on Jul y17, 2023 The delay is primarily due to these reasons.

  3. What is the NEET Exam Pattern?​


    NTA would be conducting NEET 2023 in pen and paper format across the country on a single day. The test pattern of NEET (UG) comprises of two sections. Each subject will consist of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 questions and Section B will have 15 questions. Out of these 15 questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 questions. So, the total number of questions and utilization of time will remain the same. The examination would be of 720 marks – 180 questions in total. 45 questions each for Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology would be asked. Each question carries 4 marks and a negative 1 mark for incorrect response.

  4. Would NEET UG be conducted in online format or pen and paper mode?​


    Since the COVID-19 third wave has just come under control, speculations were there on the mode of conduct of NEET 2023. While some stakeholders were hoping for an online format, it is highly likely for the paper to be held in pen and paper mode. At this point in time, COVID cases have fallen and even vaccination rates have improved, hence, it is highly unlikely for NTA to change the format of this exam.

  5. What is the NEET UG Syllabus?​


    NEET Syllabus is the same as prescribed by NCERT for Class 11 and 12 students for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This is also the same as prescribed syllabus for Class 11 and 12 for CBSE.
