. NEET will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages, as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions.
Candidates can access the NTA NEET UG examination schedule at nta.ac.in. Last year, the NEET registration portal was opened on February 9, 2024. However, the NTA released the examination calendar for the academic year 2024-25 on September 14, 2023. The NTA exam calendar pdf included the name of the examination, mode of examination, and examination dates.
The exam calendar included examination dates of the various competitive examination such as Joint Entrance Examination Session 1, Joint Entrance Examination Session 2, Common University Entrance Test, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and ICAR AIEEA. To appear for the medical entrance examination, a general category candidate needs to pay Rs 1700 as an application fee. The submission of the online NEET application form can be done by accessing the NTA website . The application form in any other mode will not be accepted. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
As of now, the testing agency has not released the NEET registration date and time. The NTA NEET UG information bulletin will contain details such as examination pattern, marking scheme, registration date, exam schedule, and other details.
Speaking of the NTA NEET syllabus, the NMC (National Medical Commission) has notified the syllabus of NEET (UG) – 2024.”The Question Paper will be based on the given syllabus (Appendix-III) which is available on the NMC website ( ). Furthermore, to rationalize the decision of reduction in the syllabus by various School Education Boards, the NTA has taken a decision to provide choice in Section “B” for each of the 4 (four) Subjects,” reads the NEET UG 2024 information bulletin.
